The Declaration of Independence establishes the foundation of the United States on principles of Creation and God’s original intent. 

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

We have not always lived up to God’s original intent because of sin. That’s why we need Jesus and we need the Bible to be transformed and restored to God’s original intent.
